Blue Door Psychological Services Offers Psychological Assessments
The practice works with children, adolescents, teenagers and young adults (generally aged 6 to 21) in assessing barriers that may be limiting their natural propensity to learn and general well-being.
A psychological assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of an individual's cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning to identify potential mental health concerns and overall well-being. It explores areas such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder, among other psychological or neurodevelopmental conditions. Psychoeducational and psychological assessments overlap on what they provide and specific referral concerns are discussed during the booking process to ensure the assessment meets your unique concerns.
These assessments commonly address concerns such as challenges with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, difficulties in behavioral regulation, socialization skills, and sensory sensitivities.
